Each person has a freedom to choose his or her own thoughts, speech and actions, in any given situation.
How people choose, how they will behave, depends upon past experience and how far they consider themselves as a social being and entity.
To prepare people for decision making of this nature, consideration of differing circumstances and outcome from various courses of action, is useful. The interview may prove a sensible opportunity for this process.
Whatever particular philosophy someone undertakes, it is important that they own their decision and simply dictating moral codes do not necessarily prove effective.
