Control of one's self and even of others, may require slow reactions. However a swift consideration of the situation is helpful, but not always. Being firm, but gentle is useful, as is dealing with anger as early as possible.
Being informative is also part of assertiveness and certainly having a considered point of view.
Sympathy and empathy for other people is considered to be a social attribute, which may be shown to one's self in turn. Certainly, being considerate toward others is vital.
Gratitude requires patient consideration of life in all its aspects, with the realisation that everything is given and should not be taken for granted.
Humbleness and humility enables greater ability to remain calm in difficult situations and especially of benefit in a Team situation.
Regret for short comings and a desire to make amends will ensure healthy development.
