Work Output / Effectiveness
The quality of the end product, whether a service or particular product or products is by and large how the Team will be judged by the company.
A good Team will pool its ideas, report on progress and give individual regular reports on what has been achieved.
What will work for one member of the Team may not be the same experience for someone else and individuality must be allowed for.
The process of accountability will reinforce a person's sense of worth and enable them to feel valued by the Team. The line Manager will also be able to assess who is making progress, important when considering future promotion prospects. Naturally, this would need to be supported by a properly written Application, when and where applicable.
A discussion, where people may speak without fear of embarrassment or ridicule is also vital.
