The relationship built up between a line Manager and each member of the Team individually will need to be a strong one, before a full Team Meeting can work effectively.
Over dominance will prove painful at a group meeting, if it is encountered at individual interviews. Hence the need for awareness of responsibility by all parties.
A well organised meeting will be prepared well before hand and will be considered in relation to a series of such meetings.
Each individual meeting would need an agenda framework, which could be carried throughout the series of meetings.
A useful plan would be to allow time for group discussion, verbal reports and training, with outside speakers and visual aids, wherever possible and when cost will allow.
