The Individual
Profitability depends upon each member of a company taking an interest in their work and making a full contribution.
If an individual is overloaded, over tired and over-stretched, whilst others are underachieving, break downs occur when either difficulties arise or the work load increases.
The unexpected can be better catered for by all employees working with each other and not against each other.
Where individuals compete, either for status or financial gain, the company overall will be the poorer.
Competition is useful, however, where the individual competes with him or herself to improve, as previously discussed in 'Self Analysis'.
